We do not offer costumes. The subject is “bring your own costume”. This means that each participant must wear a professional costume in the style of the Caribbean Carnival and provide their own if they do not already have one from previous years. For more details please check FAQ
Why do we no longer offer costumes by the Band? A short lead time (less than 3 month), sharp rise in costs for materials and design, significantly increased costs for delivery and shipping, reduction in costs for participants, financial risk pre-financing, compliance with German law, increased sustainability through pre-owned costumes.

Background to this:
The Carnival of Cultures and we don’t really want T-shirts, as the group and the presentation should look artistic and of high quality. We are still a Mas band and not a Fun Mas party band or a commercial organisation.
Why T-shirts then?
This year, for the first, only and last time, we are offering T-shirts for people who cannot wear a costume for individual reasons and to make us more inclusive for everyone at our last participation in the Carnival of Cultures. This should only happen in exceptional cases and not make up the majority of the group, therefore the limitation. The number of T-shirts available will therefore depend on the number of participants in costume.
It is possible that a small number of T-shirts will be available again, but not at this time. If you are interested, please place an ‘order’ for the waiting list via our website. If available, we will add a T-shirt in the backend and inform you accordingly. The waiting list and allocation will be processed according to individual urgency.
Most important: This T-shirt option offers you the unique privilege to play with us. Please respect our participants in costume and offer them the appropriate artistic freedom.
What to do – you need a costume?
1. Bring your own professional costume from previous years! (in respect for designers and for a professional look absolutly no DIY or “selfcreated”) 2.
